#100 Bahrain Stories

#100 Bahrain Stories is an independent project which began on social media in January 2016.

The original intention of this project was to share the narratives and portraits of 100 individuals from all walks of life, who contribute to the rich fabric of life in Bahrain.

The project is now completed with a new project entitled #TheWomen beginning soon. A small sample of the stories from the original series are available for you to read on this website. The full set of 100 stories have now been compiled and published as a book.

We are grateful for the strong community support we have received to date to make our project and book a success.

#100 Bahrain Stories has been a celebration of people and their stories; a recognition that each person’s story is valuable and our humanity is shared. In line with the community ethos of this project, profits from book sales have been donated to local charities including The Saturday Biryani Party and Rotaract Bahrain.

The #100 Bahrain Stories book is currently available at all Jashanmal Bookstores in Bahrain and Neo Books & Coffee, Riffa.
